The high-performance linear scan imaging system of terahertz Si-based blocked-impurity-band detector

چکیده
Terahertz (THz) Si-based blocked-impurity-band (BIB) detector is becoming the overwhelming choice for applications in space-based instruments, airborne, and imaging systems. A high-performance linear scan system based on THz BIB designed. Through optimized design of cryogenic Dewar a suitable optical system, reduces background stray radiation, then improves performance detector. At temperature 4.2 K bias 2.6V, blackbody peak responsivity 23.77A/W, while dark current 4.72×10−11 corresponding non-uniformity less than 6.8%. Moreover, experiment results show that noise equivalent difference (NETD) whole reaches 10mK, spatial resolution 50 µm. This work beneficial to larger scale array integrated system.
